Profile

I am a self-producing multidisciplinary performance artist working under the name Pretzel Cage. My work merges radical drag, Butoh, narrative, theory and live art practices, often using lip-sync, voice, and movement with collaged soundscapes and projected film work. I began performing at age 40 and bring a wealth of lived experience to my evolving and experimental practice. My work is bold, provocative, and emotionally layered.
